The unique packaging function of the Pacto toilet encapsulates the waste in durable material and stores it away from the user. This means that Pacto is safe and hygienic to use, as well as extremely user-friendly. There are no user restrictions and the toilet is very easy to maintain. After each visit the user simply flushes by stepping on a foot pedal located at the base of the toilet. This activates the packaging mechanism. A seal at the base of the toilet is opened and the so called flush foil (a durable material covering the inside of the toilet bowl) and waste are fed into the waste repository located beneath the toilet. The airtight seal is then re-engaged, separating the waste repository from the toilet and isolating users from the waste. Because this seal shuts very tightly no unpleasant smells or sights escape. The waste repository should be emptied periodically, the interval between emptying depending on the amount of usage. After emptying, we recommend that the waste is either incinerated or put into a compost.
