Handling the waste in a Pacto toilet is both easy and hygienic. The toilet packs everything together into durable flush foil bags. The bags are then emptied and disposed of whole, which means that you never come into direct contact with anything unpleasant.
The waste bags can be incinerated, composted or thrown away, depedning on what type of flush foil you choose and the regulations where you are. For more information on flush foil, please read here.
It is perfectly safe to incinerate polyethylene flush foil filled with waste matter. This foil has been developed specifically for use in the Pacto toilet and only gives off water and carbon dioxide when incinerated.
Composting the ECO flush foil is also very simple: the entire bag and its contents disappear within 12 months after it has been put into contact with organic materials.
